When the Father Ran

When the Father Ran

Luke 15:11-24

The Prodigal Son is perhaps the most famous of Jesus’ parables. It is a powerful story of sin and salvation, of rebellion and repentance. But most of all, it is a grand tale of divine compassion and what happens when God the Father receives back His wayward children. It rocked the world of Jesus’ first century listeners because God’s mercy is truly beyond imaginable. And to this day, our Heavenly Father will always embrace and restore sinners who return to Him.
