Luke 10:1-4
SYNOPSIS:
Jesus knew the urgency of His mission–the missionfield is ready for the harvest but the laborers are few. That is why even after appointing the seventy and sending them out in pairs to prepare the way ahead of Him, Jesus still asked them to beseech the Lord of the Harvest to send more laborers into the harvestfield. Jesus warned them of the dangers of their mission and reminded them not to bring anything that would become a hindrance to their mission.
