Empowered to be Christ’s Witnesses

Jesus promised His followers that they will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon them, and they will be witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria and even to the ends of the earth. Then as Jesus ascended to the clouds, two angels appeared telling the disciples that Jesus will return in the same way He was taken to heaven. After this, the disciples went back to the upper room, and in one accord they devoted themselves in prayer as they wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit.
