Luke 24:28-35
As the evening approaches, Cleopas and his companion urge the resurrected Jesus to stay with them; in their view, this was probably normal; it would simply be extending hospitality to a stranger they had just met on the road and taught them the Scriptures. What they don’t realize is that their act of kindness and curiosity will lead them to a discovery that will ignite their hearts and provide unspeakable joy.
