Luke 22:54-62
While Jesus was being brought to the house of the high priest after His arrest, Peter followed Him but remained at a distance to avoid being identified with the Lord. However, Peter was still recognized by three separate individuals as one of the disciples of Jesus and he denied Jesus every single time. And as the rooster crowed, Jesus turned and looked at Peter, and he remembered what the Lord said; he then went out and wept bitterly.
