2 Corinthians 10:7-11
Paul urged the Corinthians to not look at things outwardly as he defends his apostolic authority over them. His goal is to build them up and not to destroy them nor terrify them with his letter. He also pointed out how his detractors mocked him with his appearance and speech, and yet he assured them that he will not be put to shame, because his words will certainly match his actions.
