Luke 24:13-27
After the death and burial of the Lord Jesus, two of Jesus’s followers were headed to Emmaus. They were sad and disheartened because they thought that their Messiah was already dead, but the abounding grace of Christ was displayed when He appeared to these two followers and began explaining to them the things concerning Him in all of the Scriptures.
