Luke 23:44-49
As Christ voluntarily gave up His spirit, darkness fell upon Israel as the people observed an innocent man die. But what many failed to see is the payment for sin accomplished by the Son of God for the sins of many. Christ’s death bore our sins and reconciled us to God.
