1 Corinthians 10:1-13
Paul narrates how the Israelites who came out of Egypt were able to experience God’s faithfulness, yet they still fell into the sin of idolatry, immorality and grumbling. Because of this, the Israelites were left to wander in the wilderness until their death as God’s punishment. And Paul intentionally used this example to remind the Corinthian church that if they do not heed to his warning, they may share the same fate with the Israelites.
