Luke 13:31-35
The Lord Jesus had already set His eyes on Jerusalem, and no one can stop Him from reaching His destination, not even King Herod. Jesus will continue to cast out demons and heal people until He fulfills His mission. Like a hen that gathers her chicks under her wings, He continues to show His compassion towards Jerusalem, but the nation’s continuous rejection of the Messiah will result in their destruction.
