A Pattern of Belief and Disobedience

When falsely accused, Stephen doesn’t simply try to refute each accusation point by point. Instead, he proclaims and explains the Truth he stands for by going back to where it all began. By doing so, he demonstrates that he is not opposed to God, Moses, or the Law; rather, what he proclaims is rooted in and flows from the very Word of God.
