The Lame Man at the Temple Gate

Peter and John went up to the temple for the hour of prayer. At the Beautiful Gate, they encountered a man who had been crippled since birth. When he asked for money, Peter offered no silver or gold, but used the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to make him walk. Instantly, the man jumped up, leaping and praising God as he entered the sanctuary. This miraculous healing demonstrated that the name of Jesus brings not only physical healing but also spiritual salvation.
