Satisfaction Unguaranteed

In chapter six, Qoheleth exposes the tragedy of life under the sun: wealth, honor, pleasures, long life, many children, and full bellies cannot truly satisfy the soul. These limitations, or the inability to enjoy them, deepen the heart’s longing for true and lasting joy, a satisfaction found only in God alone in Christ.
