The Believer’s Responsibility in Giving

Paul directed the Corinthian church to begin collecting funds for the saints in Jerusalem before he arrives and asked them to set aside and save an amount according to how God has blessed them. The gathered money, along with other gifts and letters, will be sent to Jerusalem by trusted men that the Corinthians have approved, and Paul further states that he will join the journey to Jerusalem if necessary.
