Welcome to GFC. Our purpose is to magnify Christ through the faithful exposition of His word – book by book, verse by verse. We welcome all who seek to know Jesus and experience warm fellowship in a true, Biblical church.
What to Expect
Before the main service (both English in the morning and Tagalog in the afternoon) we conduct Sunday school for kids in our visitor’s lounge. Meanwhile, parents may choose their seats in the worship area.
Sunday worship lasts for about an hour and a half. Our liturgy is simple: we begin with hymns (modern and classic), followed by the public reading of scripture. Our preaching pastor will then offer a pastoral prayer before delivering his sermon, which runs for roughly 45 minutes. We end with communion (every first Sunday of the month), some quick announcements regarding church life, and a benediction. We then sing together the Gloria Patri.
You are welcome to stay to speak to our pastors and fellowship with others!

Our Leadership Set Up
We are led by a plurality of elders. Rather than have a solo pastor doing most of the hard work, the burden of leadership and decision making is shared by qualified elders who love Christ and His church.
You’ll see this reflected in our rotation of preaching elders, including lay preachers. We believe a plurality of elders is not only Biblical but most beneficial in the leading, nurturing, and shepherding of God’s flock.
GFC Ministries
We offer a variety of ministries throughout the month for different age groups and demographics. These include men’s ministry, women’s ministry, youth, and several more. Our aim is to develop a vibrant church body life for our members while also reaching visitors who wish to learn more about God in other GFC contexts.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is your denomination?
We are a non-denominational evangelical church. To be a bit more specific, we are credo-baptists who are reformed in our soteriology and hold to a pre-millennial end times view.
Do you offer small group Bible studies?
We do have a range of small groups hosted and led by various church members, but these are all aimed at fellow members. If you’re interested in joining the church, we ask that you not only attend worship service every Sunday, but that you join us for our midweek Bible fellowship, so we can get to know you more, and you can have a deeper experience of our spiritual family.
Are you related to John MacArthur’s Grace Community Church in LA?
No. The closest relation we have to GCC is that one of our lay preachers is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary and was a custodian at Grace Community Church while he was studying. Other than that, we are not related to GCC but heartily endorse the teaching and pastoral ministry of John MacArthur.
How can I be a member?
We have a basic policy that you must attend Sunday worship consistently over a six-month period. After which you can attend our membership classes and take the next steps towards becoming a member. Learn more.
Do I have to be baptized to become a member?
Yes. Full immersion water baptism is a membership requirement at GFC.
Why don’t you have a full-time pastor?
GFC is currently ruled by a plurality of elders. Each elder is a “tentmaker” – meaning they have full-time work, businesses, or are retired – and they each lean on one another to faithfully govern the church without taking a church salary.
We believe this is a viable, strong – and more importantly biblical – model of church leadership. Ecclesiastes 4:12 – “And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” The apostle Paul advocated a plurality of elders throughout his epistles.
Will we one day have a salaried full-time pastor? It’s possible. But presently, having multiple elders who are financially independent of the church, and who exhort the congregation to actively participate in loving and ministering to one another in the spirit of Acts 2 and 6, we have a powerful leadership model that relies less on solo, rock star pastors and more on the quiet and cooperative leadership of faithful elders.
What day and time are your worship services?
Sunday 10am for our English service; 1:30pm for our Tagalog service. Then we have PDF242 (a church Bible study and fellowship) every two Thursdays of the month, 7pm.
Is there parking?
Yes. Madison Galeries, where we are located, has decent parking, but it fills up quickly on a Sunday morning. Alternatively, you can park on the side of the road heading to Alabang Hills.
Do you have childcare or a kid’s church service on Sunday?
First of all, we do not mind hearing the sound of infants during the service! We therefore encourage parents to sit with their babies and children during worship. Should you need a quiet place to care for you child, we do have a parents/visitor’s lounge where mothers can sit and hear the sermon while nursing.
