2 Corinthians 1:15-22
The apostle Paul defends himself from agitators who claim he is unreliable and untrue to his word. In doing so, he points the Corinthians to One who is always reliable, Jesus Christ, in whom all God’s promises are fulfilled, including our great salvation, which we can know and have full confidence.
