Luke 18:18-27
The rich young ruler came to the Lord Jesus asking what he should do to inherit eternal life. Knowing what is in his heart, the Lord Jesus showed him that his good works could not earn him his salvation, and instead pointed him towards God, the Author of salvation, who makes all things possible.
