Vanity, Violence, and Victory

1 Corinthians 15:29-34

The Corinthian church was plagued by error and pagan influence. But perhaps nothing was more dangerous to them than the unregenerate people in their midst claiming that resurrection was not real. This heretical idea threatened to undermine the church so Paul addressed it definitively, using arguments and enigmatic statements to drive home the truth of resurrection as well as the danger of bad, corrupting company.
