1 Corinthians 5:6-13
Paul addresses the sin of an immoral brother in Corinth where the church was tolerating his unacceptable actions. With clarity and urgency in the tone of his letter, he gives a series of commands on how to purge the sinner and conduct themselves in this particular situation for the sake of the church’s purity, for the sake of the community and for the watching world as well.
