Luke 20:27-40
After the chief priests and the scribes were silenced by the Lord Jesus, it was now the sadducees turn. As they tried to trap the Lord Jesus by asking that in the resurrection whose wife is a woman going to be in a levirate marriage. The Lord Jesus took that opportunity to teach and silence them by saying that the age today will not be the same as in the resurrection, because the sons of the resurrection will be like angels which do not marry or are given into marriage.
