1 Corinthians 7:17-24
Paul urged the Corinthian church to remain in the condition to which they were called. Their external situation required no change. Instead, an inward transformation to despise sin and walk according to God’s commands was needed because they were bought with a price and were called not to become slaves of men but of Christ.
