Blast from the Past

After His fiery exchange with the hypocritical Pharisees, Jesus turns to the scribes and delivers an equally blistering assessment. He exposes them not as holy guardians of the truth but as evildoers who hindered people from coming to God. Jesus, whose very mission was to save lost souls, was outraged at how the scribes roadblocked people from salvation. So he denounces them in a divine dressing down they’ll never forget.
